LIFE OF AGONY Take Short Break From Recording, Drummer To Get Married
November 14, 2004LIFE OF AGONY will fly home for a two-week break from the recording sessions for their new album so that drummer Sal Abruscato and his fiancée Diana Marin can tie the knot on November 28, 2004 in New York City. The band will return to Los Angeles on December 1 to continue recording with producer Greg Fidelman (SLIPKNOT, JET, JOHNNY CASH). "It's exciting times for all of us," Sal said in a press release.
LIFE OF AGONY recently completed three weeks of pre-production in Woodstock, NY, where they finished writing all of the material for the upcoming record. A tentative release date is scheduled for spring 2005.
LIFE OF AGONY's upcoming album will be their first collection of new material since "Soul Searching Sun", which was released in 1997.
LIFE OF AGONY's last release was a live album and DVD, entitled "River Runs Again: Live 2003". The two-disc set was recorded during the group's sold-out reunion shows at Irving Plaza in New York City on January 3-4, 2003 and was issued through SPV Records worldwide.
Abruscato is currently scheduled to appear at the 2005 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. It is not presently clear if any of the other bandmembers will attend the annual music trade event.
